Website Orientation Activity
Before diving into the ethics, take a few minutes to explore the course website. This short activity will make sure you know how to find everything you need.
🎯 Your Mission
Complete each of the following tasks. There's nothing to submit — this is just to make sure you're comfortable navigating the site before we begin.
☑️ Checklist
Explore the sidebar. Click on at least three different modules in the sidebar to expand them. Notice how each module contains a list of pages.
Open the lesson sections. Go to any lesson page (try Nicomachean Ethics, Book I) and click the numbered section headings to open and close them. This is how lesson content is organized throughout the course.
Use Previous and Next. Scroll to the bottom of any lesson page and use the navigation buttons to move forward and backward through the course.
Follow the breadcrumbs. Look at the small links at the top of any page (e.g., Home › PHIL 2306 › Unit 1). Click "PHIL 2306" to jump back to the course landing page.
Find your instructor. Navigate to the Meet Your Instructor page and read through it.
Check the course overview. Go back to the course landing page and look at all eight module cards. Get a sense of the full journey ahead.
Ready? Once you've completed the checklist, you're all set. Head to Unit 1: Aristotle to begin the course!
